What is SHOWCASE?
A new division, "SHOWCASE", has been added starting in 2026.
This department does not engage in battles.
The review of Wildcard is conducted with different criteria than other departments and is evaluated on story, artistry, originality, etc.
Solo Division Final Tournament
The GBB 2026 Solo division final tournament will be held as an 8-person tournament.
It is explained that since GBB 2021, there have been repeated requests from Beatboxers to hold it as an 8-person tournament.
Solo & Loopstation Special Rules
A total of 5 judges will score, but the highest and lowest scores are cut, and the average of the remaining 3 judges becomes the final score. This is a stable scoring method that is not affected by extreme evaluations.
COMEBACK Wildcard
COMEBACK Wildcard is a system where one person who could not obtain a participation slot in the regular Solo Wildcard ranking can obtain participation rights as a special slot.

Selection Process

Nomination by Judges
Five judges each freely nominate one person from among the targets (up to 5 candidates).
※If all five judges nominate the same artist, the participant is determined at that point.

Re-voting (Judges + Swissbeatbox YouTube Membership)
- Judge votes: Each judge ranks the candidates.
- Member votes: Swissbeatbox YouTube membership members vote during the live stream, and the result is counted as the "6th judge's" vote.

Winner Determination
The 5 judges + Swissbeatbox YouTube membership members (6 rankings in total) are converted to points and totaled, and the one person with the highest total score will participate in GBB 2026.

Replacement Participation
If there is a withdrawal from the GBB, the spot will be filled by participants from the lower ranks of Wildcard.
Basically, the key point is that the response changes as of August 1, 2026.
Replacement Deadline

| After August 1, 2026 | Swissbeatbox will make individual judgments. Decisions will be made based on the situation, such as whether travel visa acquisition and travel arrangements can be made in time. |
Replacement Targets
Replacement targets are limited to those with higher rankings in Wildcard.

About the referee
The referee, introduced in GBB23, is a member separate from the judges. While the judges evaluate each participant, the referee is responsible for checking if the rules are being followed.

Second League
Official name：Off The Lips Beatbox Battle
A new "Second League" has been established starting this year. The Second League will be held in China, and the runners-up of the GBB 2026 Solo category will be invited.
Winning this "Second League" will qualify you for the GBB 2027 Solo category.
Runners-up: Top-ranked participants from the Wildcard rankings who could not participate in the main tournament.
Example: If the Wildcard entry slots are 8, it refers to 9th to 16th place.
This site does not handle information about the second league.
